How to run Claude Code with Anthropic Claude 官方

Anthropic is the maker of Claude and the native backend of Claude Code: full Opus/Sonnet capability with new features first. The launcher supports both official auth modes: API key, or Pro / Max subscription login (OAuth).

Step 1 — Get a Anthropic Claude 官方 API key

API key: console.anthropic.com → API Keys → create (sk-ant-…). Subscription: pick “Subscription” on the card and complete the official login in the terminal on first launch — no key needed.

Step 2 — Configure the Snail launcher (3 steps)

1. Download the launcher for Mac / Windows from justalittlesnail.ai;
2. Paste the API key on the Anthropic Claude 官方 card (the launcher validates connectivity immediately);
3. Pick a model and click Launch Claude Code — a dedicated terminal window opens.

Main: claude-fable-5 (complex tasks) · Fast: claude-haiku-4-5 (subtasks / summaries). After saving the key, click “Refresh” on the card to pull the live model list.

FAQ

API key or subscription — which one?

With a Claude Pro / Max subscription choose “Subscription”: the launcher injects no keys and Claude Code uses the official login, billed against your plan. Use an API key for automation, multi-window fleets, and usage-based billing.

Can I mix official Claude with Chinese models?

Yes — that's the launcher's core workflow: each window can run a different model. Give heavy work to official Claude flagships and batch tasks to DeepSeek / Qwen, all in parallel.
