How to run Claude Code & Codex with MiMo
MiMo is Xiaomi's LLM family, strong at multimodal and agent tasks. MiMo offers both an Anthropic-compatible endpoint and an OpenAI Responses API endpoint — it runs under both engines.

Step 1 — Get a MiMo API key
Open platform.xiaomimimo.com → sign up / log in → API Key management → create and copy.

Step 2 — Configure the Snail launcher (3 steps)
- Download the launcher for Mac / Windows from justalittlesnail.ai;
- Paste the API key on the MiMo card (the launcher validates connectivity immediately);
- Pick a model and click Launch Claude Code — a dedicated terminal window opens.

Main: mimo-v2.5-pro (complex tasks) · Fast: mimo-v2.5 (subtasks / summaries). After saving the key, click “Refresh” on the card to pull the live model list.

- Does MiMo work with Codex?
- Yes. MiMo's Responses API endpoint is probe-verified; start from the MiMo card under the Codex engine.
